Kehillot (Communities)

This picture taken in Nicaragua  in 2012 is of the four brides standing in front of the Chuppah with their conversion documents and ketuvot (Jewish marriage contracts). They and their children were among some of the converts.

BADATSLI visited Nicaragua twice to perform 28 conversions in total with 8 marriages. Since then there ahs been three Jewish births and one Bat Mitsvah. The community continues to grow. Two articles written for the Kulanu Magazine describe the proceedings: http://www.kulanu.org/nicaragua/beitdinvisitsnicaragua.php
